This subject is a tribute to my dear friend, the Maestro and painter Vittorio Maria di Carlo, a Milanese artist who recently passed away.
This work is part of an "historical" cycle that I have been following for several years. A sort of decoding of the archaic-mythological imagery through the study of figures and compositions that refer to the archeology of my territory, the ancient Daunia, in Puglia.
The iconography represents the muse, a female figure, source of luck and good fortune, representative of antiquity, as narrated in the Greco-Roman civilisations.
